Bruce

Bruce is
a a regular consultant to public schools and other agencies regarding
ADHD, NLD, and Asperger's Disorder. He also works with schools to
establish in-house social skills groups.
Prior to
establishing the Academy MetroWest practice in 1994, Bruce worked as a
therapist at the Academy of Physical and Social Development in Newton, MA
. While in that position, he created and directed Camp Nonantum,
a therapeutic summer program for children with special needs.

Gary
Steinberg LSW
founder, director, counselor
Recognized
as an innovator of cooperative games for children, Gary serves as a consultant for schools
and children's programs.
Prior to
establishing the Academy MetroWest practice in 1994, Gary
was the program director and counselor at the Academy
of Physical and Social
Development in Newton,
MA for more than 20 years.

 The activity group counseling staff,
which includes Gary and Bruce, is comprised of professionals with
training in clinical and counseling psychology, social work, education,
or human service.
